The Caribbean Climate-Smart Accelerator is an an entrepreneurial engine established to drive transformative climate action and resiliency in the Caribbean. The Accelerator was featured as the first high–level commitment at President Macron’s One Planet Summit, where Prime Ministers Roosevelt Skerrit of Dominica, Keith Mitchell of Grenada, Allen Chastanet of Saint Lucia and Virgin Group Founder Sir Richard Branson articulated a far–reaching vision for the world’s first Climate-Smart Zone. This vision and the Accelerator were co–created with President Moreno and the IDB, Caribbean Leaders, OECS, CARICOM, the World Bank and other key partners.It was formed recognising that the impacts of climate change will only become more extreme especially in light of the experience of the 2017 Hurricane season, which decimated large parts of the region. Through private and public partnerships, we are working to combat climate change head on by building more resilient countries, cities and industries with strong infrastructures that can withstand the effects of climate-disaster. We are also implementing solutions that allow us to lead by example demonstrating simple measures that can assist in reversing the impact of climate change.

Racquel Moses is currently the country manager for Microsoft Trinidad and Tobago and the regional director of the public sector for Microsoft Caribbean. Most recently she has served as the Head of Caribbean and International projects for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and was previously the President of InvesTT Trinidad and Tobago. Racquel was born and raised in Trinidad, although the bulk of her career has been international, including several executive-level positions at large multinational organizations including JP Morgan Chase, Cable & Wireless and Fujitsu. Through all of her appointments she has served as an agent of change and high performance. Racquel currently serves as the trustee for the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee.

Regional Vice President - Enterprise SalesP&L responsibility for department of sales managers committed to producing in excess of 16M USD across 30 customers in 14 Countries. Managed a portfolio of revenue for the period exceeding 100M USD while reducing costs by 33%.• Implemented a customer contact and measurement program that resulted in a double digit increase in customer satisfaction.• Developed a Business Review Strategy that doubled the Sales pipeline through joint objective setting and opportunity mining evaluations with customers. The process increased customer satisfaction empowering them to make informed decisions on their products and services while increasing LIME sales• Enabled the sales managers to present their sales forecasts through the use of tools like Salesforce.com rather than create separate reports, saving valuable time and improving their effectiveness.

Managing Director - Consulted on the development of sales, marketing and operations development. NOA/Claro, Produced NOA's first financial statements post acquisition. Generated and delivered Sales and Marketing Strategy to the Operating Board. Developed a sales program resulting in a 1M USD increase in advertising sales. Guided the production of an outdoor advertising budget for new entrant in the telecommunications market resulting in a 10 fold increase in allocation. Pakia - Established organization, served and conducted effective Board meetings, managed the importation of 300K USD worth of products, formed and trained sales team, developed operations, built circulation model and ran operations of the distribution company all within a (3) month period. Burger King - Assisted in the preparation of Financial Statements, developed research based justification for the exploration of new markets, developed, implemented and launched system to measure customer satisfaction.

Created the strategic accounts department transforming Fujitsu’s business to delivering a superior level of customer service, specific to large accounts.• Spearheaded 15M USD sale and early implementation of Sun/Dell solution to National Commercial Bank re-infrastructure initiative.• Implemented new sales procedures as structure resulting in a record year for 2001-2002.• Managed an 8 member sales team responsible for selling Fujitsu's products and systems integration services in Jamaica and the Western Caribbean.
