Deputy Director Of Research
Current- With department's top leadership, lead the union's strategic research department in driving public campaigns to raise workplace standards for workers- Develop union co-op and other worker-owned employment models to create meaningful, asset-rich jobs in healthcare, the gig economy, and other sectors.- Manage research analysts in the development of strategic campaigns, organizing campaigns to unite healthcare workers across California, and strategic contract negotiations with the nation's largest hospital employers- Coordinate with other divisions of the union, academics, outside experts, and other organizations to integrate campaign elements- Maintain relationships with healthcare industry stakeholders and create strategic opportunities to advance UHW's campaigns
