R. Adam Parker, JD, MBA, CMTE, FACPEI am an EMS professional who has demonstrated progressive leadership advancements over the course of my career. I am an avid life-long learner, solution oriented, exceptionally analytic, with strong interpersonal communication skills. I am passionate about advocating and promoting advancements within the mobile healthcare profession. I have 15 years of experience working in career and volunteer organizations. I have held various positions in my career including field and flight paramedic, field training officer, educator, supervisor, and manager. Within these roles, I have been responsible for ensuring clinical performance and quality improvement, educational development and competency testing, policy and protocol development, community and governmental relations, business development, operations and personnel management, project management and program development, and budgeting. I have been active in advocating for the profession and I currently chair the Advocacy Committee of the North Dakota EMS Association (NDEMSA), which is the committee responsible for all regulatory and governmental affairs. I also co-chair the Service Leader committee, which is responsible for developing strategies to support small service leaders. I also served as an elected board member of the NDEMSA from 2014-2021, serving the Southwest region. Additionally, I was appointed to the North Dakota EMS Advisory Council in December 2020.I grew up working with my dad on the farm and later helped him start a business. This has instilled an exceptional work ethic in me that has not wavered. I am a highly motivated and dedicated to getting the job done, whatever it may be.
