My mission is to create optimal conditions for the well-being of office workers, particularly those experiencing prolonged sitting. My vision is that everyone should be able to perform their desk work—whether at the office, at home, or during their studies—with ease and without health issues!My deeper involvement in ergonomics was driven by personal issues with my upper back, wrist, and shoulder, which accumulated due to years of poor posture while working at a desk. I began connecting with others who sit for long periods and discovered they faced similar problems. This led me to think about and research ways to eliminate, mitigate, or prevent these issues while creating conditions that support maintaining proper posture during work.📖 Given the extensive scope of this field, I wrote a guide titled "Is Sitting Really That Dangerous?" which contains 70 tips for maintaining correct posture.The Ergonomic Duo:The first step in solving these issues is undoubtedly investing in a high-quality ergonomic office chair. However, when I realized that even a good chair didn’t resolve all my discomfort, I decided to take an additional step and develop a universal ergonomic stand to support proper posture.In collaboration with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Maribor, individuals with similar challenges, physiatricians, physiotherapists, orthopedic specialists, and other medical professionals, I developed the ergonomic stand Ergonomko. Combined with an ergonomic office chair, it effectively prevents, reduces, or alleviates common issues in the back, neck, and shoulders.About the Ergonomic Stand:The ergonomic tool is an innovative solution for safer and more efficient reading, typing, handwriting, and transferring content from paper documents to a computer. It ensures the user maintains an optimal spinal position while sitting from both an ergonomic and medical perspective, protecting them from poor posture and injuries.A crucial component of this ergonomic stand is the posture corrector, which prevents leaning over the desk after assuming the optimal sitting position. This module, in the form of a transparent panel, is placed above the keyboard.
