I'm a Chartered Landscape Architect and garden historian, I specialise in planning appeals, LVIAs for renewable energy schemes, and townscape character assessments for 'tall buildings'. I have been recently involved in an LVIA for a retirement scheme that comprises a Grade II Georgian house and Grade II* listed building constructed in late 1980s.Over the past few years I've also been involved in a number of private commissions including para 79 houses, garden and woodland designs, and design in the context of heritage assets.In 2014 I took part in a series of seminars for Local Planning Authorities across the UK run by the RenewableUK where I presented my approach to LVIAs based on the current guidance.
