As part of the Analytical Engineering team, primarily responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of an enterprise-wide reporting system that replaces legacy reporting systems and caters to Business users with industry advancements. Power BI Admin:- Power BI query performance optimization- Utilization and Capacity management and monitoring- Data sources connectivity, configuration, and access permission via Gateway management.- Server configurations, regular updates, and version upgrades- Manage workspaces and user access via AD groups- Publish Power BI Reports using Deployment Pipelines.- Troubleshoot data access and other issuesPower BI Development:- Developing Power BI reports/dashboards with emphasis on using the industry best practices - Report design, DAX, Performance tuning, Dataset/Dataflow refresh- Data modeling in Power BI for multi-source data (Redshift, Databricks, Azzure, Snowflake, SharePoint etc)- Data Cleaning and Transformation at Power Query to ease report development.- Data refresher Optimization via Incremental Refreshes, optimizing query performance, and creating aggregated or flattened tables at data sources.
