Responsibilities & DutiesLeading quality assurance, quality engineering, quality control, and quality systems for the operations platform. Working with other manufacturing plant quality teams to monitor and ensure compliance to Tomra/Compac Quality Management System. Measuring, monitoring, and managing key quality processes (product quality, supplier quality, CAPA, nonconforming material, change management, complaint management, risk management, quality investigations, design quality assurance, quality audits) to ensure compliance, prevent non-conformances and drive continuous improvement Collaborate with an organization’s procurement and purchasing team to ensure supply or parts and materials from external suppliers meet quality requirements. Establish quality procedures, standards, and specifications for the company. Collect, compile, and analyze relevant quality statistical data to obtain information regarding quality performance. Sets quality guidelines for Assembly or Production. Conduct tests to verify the quality of raw materials and finished products. Review existing process and product specification to identify the need for improvement or upgrade. Prepare and present reports to update upper management on quality activities. Maintain proper records of quality test, procedures, and standards. Manage Inspection Module in ERP. Review and recommend Compac certification to international quality managements systems and standards. Develop positive relationships and effective lines of communication with suppliers: Partnership-oriented arrangements Establish quality procedures, standards, and specifications for the company.
