- Analysis of the requirements for specific projects for traffic optimization and installation of traffic equipment;- Preparation of appropriate projects for the necessary equipment and configuration of the hardware installation;- Setting up and configuring the software according to the project description;- Advising other team members (e.g. R&D engineers) on traffic-related terminology, rules, concept, algorithms, etc.;- Verification of the functionality of new products before launch; - Design and conduct of various traffic simulations through software and simulation platforms.

- Preparation of projects under part “Temporary traffic organization and traffic safety” required for carrying out the construction works on roads and streets;- Preparation of projects under part "Water supply and Sewerage".- Coordination with Municipality authorities and Traffic police;- Communication with the Investor;

- Preparation of projects for regulation of the traffic on the roads with light signals, according to Ordinance 17 on the regulation of traffic on roads with light signals;- Preparation of projects under part Temporary organization and traffic safety, according to Ordinance № 3 for temporary organization and traffic safety during construction and installation works on the roads and the streets, issued by the Ministry of Regional Development and PublicWorks;- Study of the transport load at key light-regulated intersections.

During 7 weeks assisted as an on-site engineering team during the reconstructionworks of the Burgas - Malko Turnovo. Our team of 5 trainees, all master students ofroad engineering at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy inSofia (UACEG), were involved in all major aspects of the reconstruction works, fromhelping the workers with handling materials and equipment, to conducting materialprobes in the mobile lab and assisting the engineers with oversight and analysis.
