About Eric Rae

Started working in radio part-time in 2000 when I was 16 years old, and have loved every minute of it. Though the true start to my radio career was when I would call up the local morning DJ at the time "The Captain"​ with temperature updates every single day when I was only 14. Currently working with an amazing staff of people that I'm glad to call my friends. I've primarily been a CHR personality during my career, however I have been on stations of other formats, including AC, Modern Rock, Classic Rock, and Country.Currently, I am the Afternoon Drive host on 106 KHQ in Traverse City/Petoskey. Along with being Assistant PD, and Director of DigitalI love stepping into the studio everyday, bringing enthusiasm, and connecting with people not only on the air, but through social media as well.I also served as the Production Director for our cluster of 8 stations for 10 years.
