• Supporting students from grade 6-12 and adult students in the residence setting• Providing one-on-one support to students of various ages and providing mediation between students when conflict arises• Mentoring 3rd year college students in their internship, offering field guidance, working with their college internship coordinator and assisting with building their experience in preparation for their transition into the workforce• Writing case notes and maintaining files to handover to daytime staff and weekend staff• Building a safe and supportive community within the residence floor and the building • Planning programming focusing on life skills such as budgeting, cooking, time management, problem solving, and conflict resolution• Building relationships with students, parents, and staff• Working in the LGBTQ+ community and helping young adults own their truth in many aspects of their life• Liaising with administrative staff, the school nurse, and other staff to provide a wraparound student support approach • Collaborating with residence staff to create fun, meaningful experiences and events for students; supporting student-led initiatives • Performing health & safety checks and drills

I'm instructing youth from ages 3-14 of the fundamentals, benefits, and proper ways of performing, and becoming better Breakdancers. Being a voice of a leader, and mentor, the responsibilities of keeping them engaged and safe during my classes is rewarding at the end of the school year.

I taught beginner and advance hip hop to ages ranging from 4 to 60. I taught leadership skills, organization, creativity, and responsibility while being a role model.
