This service was offered under a federal grant program, the funding of which was slashed in September 2017, ending the PPH program in Iowa. In February 2017 I was promoted to Lead Navigator (manager) and was charged with ensuring my five colleagues statewide provided the best service possible. We all worked remotely, requiring exceptional organizational and communication skills.
