In this role, I directed the work of an Executive Team consisting of 14 direct reports (280 indirect reports), while leading the charge as the owner sought to reposition the hotel and launch into the luxury segment. Repositioned hotel and introduced to upscale luxury 5-star market, drawing on my many years of luxury hospitality experience. As part of a wide-reaching programme of change, I raised standards of service, directed multimillion-euro renovations, restructured the managerial team and orchestrated culture change across the entire workforce, leading to a significant uptick in revenue and a doubling of GOP.Under my leadership, the hotel received numerous Condé Nast awards and other major industry honours, including IAGTO ‘Hotel Experience of the Year’ and Toque d’Or ‘Top Notch’ accolades. Notably, I doubled income from F&B by implementing innovative new concepts and I also rolled out a new spa concept, leading to the ‘Best Spa’ honour at the Madame Figaro Beauty Awards.
