Current• Repairs and maintains electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic machines and installations.• Performs maintenance and repair of various types of equipment. Inspects, maintains and troubleshoots electrical, control and auxiliary equipment which includes: pneumatic, electrical, electronic and PLC (Siemens and KBB preferred) based prime mover control systems, UPS Systems, Medium voltage electrical distribution and motor control equipment.• Maintains and repairs plant auxiliary equipment such as data acquisition and compressed air systems• Maintains and repairs variable speed drives• Relay and ladder logic knowledge• Demonstrated ability to use test meters, low and high voltage meter, oscilloscope, and other electronic test equipment• Plant maintenance background and familiarity with plant equipment (e.g. plant electrical, instrument, HVAC, communications, weighing systems, and process control systems. Skills include knowledge of process equipment, electronics, electricity, computer logic, circuits, pneumatics, and mechanics).• Knowledge of process equipment and spare parts requirements to perform repairs.• Working knowledge of maintenance repair procedures, and basic knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance practices.• Demonstrated ability with desktop computer software and proficient at learning new software and hand-held device interface.• Demonstrated strong initiative and attention to details, has good communication and interpersonal skills for working with people of varied experience and backgrounds including outside suppliers. Has aptitude for reading drawings and equipment specifications.• Problem solving and teamwork skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, persistence in following tasks through to completion, initiative to identify and implement work process improvements, and able to work with minimum supervision or direction.
