I am currently a graduate student at the University of California Irvine pursing a PhD in Astrophysics. I have a broad array of interests ranging from observational astronomy (especially pertaining to exoplanets), data science, technical consulting, programming, and science communication. I am an outgoing "people person" with extensive experience in public speaking and technical writing, and I enjoy using these skills to bridge the divide between high-tech solutions and the everyday person. I am at my happiest when tackling a complex problem or sifting through data for answers. In my spare time, I enjoy ballroom dance, reading classic sci-fi, and birdwatching.
