In this role, I manage the Girls Rugby program in the greater Columbus, OH. I employ marketing and recruiting strategies to further develop the program in size and quality. My objective is to create a space where our young athletes feel empowered to use the core values we teach on and off the field.

Worked with faculty in the Political Science department to provide local government officials with the knowledge and tools to do their jobs effectively. I completed research projects, policy editing and review, and assisted with sale of source books tailored to their position as defined by the Ohio Revised Code.

Working in a team of Resident Assistants I created safe and healthy communities for our university students by providing relevant programming, conducting one-on-one check-ins, and developing a strong network of resources. Through this job experience I developed a comprehensive understanding of how to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and those I was trying to serve. I also participated in extensive training on a variety of topics including diversity and inclusion, suicidal ideation and other mental illness warning signs, and alcohol and drug abuse.
