Part of a 3 person team who deliver Scotland's most cherished cherished small festival - The Insider, and subsequent events and festivals. Recent projects include the most celebrated and successful Strathspey Safari - an experimental roving festival; held in August 2015 and August 2016. Featuring live music, poetry and performance in unusual, adventurous and gloriously scenic locations this is an entirely unique event which blurs the lines between performers and audience, tourism and culture, festival and adventure. The Strathspey Safari transports audience members and performers around a number of different locations within the Cairngorms National Park, who eventually converge at a secret location for a Safari Ball, with dancing and celebrations into the night. Varied packages are available from our basic Pioneer package, to Gourmet packages where participants enjoy high quality cuisine in beautiful settings, to our travelologist package where lucky ticket holders upgrade to include accommodation at the stunning Dell of Abernethy. 2016 saw the introduction of The Insider Feast, where we treated a sold out room to a fine dining 5 course experience alongside live music and a whisky masterclass. The Strathspey Safari 2015 featured in the BBC Documentary The Mountain, which was viewed by over 400,000. Other Insider events include: A Night at the Theatre (x3) and various one off events including being invited to curate a venue for the official Edinburgh Hogmanay celebrations as part of Scot:Lands.
