We are comprised of passionate patients, caregivers, sickle cell trait carriers, medical providers, and other stakeholders and individuals who are concerned with the outcomes of those living with sickle cell disease. Our mission is to improve the lives of individuals and communities affected by sickle cell disease through research, education, advocacy, equitable access to knowledgeable and compassionate medical care, and community empowerment. SickleCellMN is a For Us, By Us organization and collectively, we seek to change the sickle cycle!Sickle Cell Foundation of Minnesota is the state’s only community-based organization solely dedicated to meeting the needs of the sickle cell community. Our vision is to change the sickle cell narrative by connecting people, providers, research and hope. Through our programs and community outreach efforts, we accomplish the work of the Foundation in a way that validates our experiences, clarifies our journeys, and empowers our futures.
