I worked in the perennials department caring for the plants, and the customers. This job required me to learn common and botanical names for Colorado perennials, and the growing conditions they needed.I continue to work at the Flower Bin whenever they are short handed, or need seasonal help.

I worked underneath a CU graduate student to research groundwater inflows in the Columbia River in Washington state. This involved spending long days in a canoe on the river to collect data, and then analyzing the data using Rstudio to locate variations in DO, temperature, and salinity in the river.
