Plant Manager
Current- Establishes a baseline that monitors overall plant performance. - Manages plant performance improvements based on Key Performance Indicator (KPI) measurements- Develop the plant staff and workforce through the performance management process, including training and development plans for each direct report- Focus on talent and organizational development, develop an effective succession planning process, and creates a culture focused on continuous improvement- Develop collaborative interdepartmental working relationships with customer support management, and sales management to maximize customer service- Develops plant goals and works with and through subordinate associates to achieve results. Works with Plant Supervisor or Asst. Plant Manager to achieve goals- Improve performance and assure management succession by training, developing, and motivating department personnel- Responsible for all operations including shipping, receiving, inventory, profit and loss, manufacturing, maintenance, planning, and safety. - Led all production, planning, shipping, and purchasing operations which resulted in consistently exceeding all productivity goals, with 100% on-time shipments.- Led the transition from a traditional push driven manufacturing company to a highly flexible, customer focused, multi-functional, coating, and rewinding facility which increased customers by offering more innovative and creative product solutions.- Developed the project scope, budget, and coordinated all of the testing activities of the environmental consultant and the material removal by a qualified extraction company.
