Actively involved in Business Development

Alternate Director in Business Management and Operations• Manages activities to ensure delivery targets• Provides direct or indirect supervision of all clinical and administrative aspects of a clinical trial within the research site to ensure delivery of targets and quality.• Responsible for cost control within the site• Continuously oversees the schedules of site staff to ensure highest utilization of all resources.• Evaluates and implements new operational strategies to enhance efficiencies, provide competitive advantages, and improve overall profitability of the site.• May provide input in the feasibility process, considering operational concerns• Communicates targets to the site teams and continuously measures progress.• Plans and prepares proactively for future studies according to new and defined strategies, embracing and implementing new area initiatives at the sites.• Collaborates with site and management regarding capacity planning and back-up plans, arranging and attending meetings.• Manages staff, which may include interviewing and selection, job description preparation, professional development, goal setting, performance management, coaching and mentoring, employee counselling, and separations. Approves courses of action on salary administration, hiring, corrective action, and terminations. Reviews and approves time records, expense reports, requests for leave, and overtime.• Ensures compliance with the company quality framework, regulatory, legislation, guidelines and international standards.• Ensure the implementation of quality control methods, practices and improvements and that risks are highlighted to the compliance department.• Ensures that site and facilities provides a safe working environment and is H&S compliant

Management role focusing on Business Management & Development, Project Management, Operations Management, Finance Management• Completion, Quality Checking, Quality Assurance of Source Documents and Logs• Assist with Clinical Operations to meet all departmental and project goals.• Database Maintenance and oversight of trackers including timeous TAT of eCRF, queries and trackers.• Assist project teams with study specific documention and guidelines• Set up, organize and maintain Clinical study documentation including preparation for internal/external audits, final reconciliation and archival.• Assist in Quality control audits of Clinical study documentation (study files, CRF files and monitoring files)• Maintenance of Stock Levels• Management of CTAs in terms of workload, training, delegation of duties etc.• Ensuring regulatory and IRB compliance• Coordination and management of various teams/departments within the scope of the study• Other duties as assigned

Management role focusing on Business Development, Project Management, Operations Management• Take medical histories and conduct physical assessments (e.g. vital signs) on study participants according to protocol. • Follow up participants according to protocol requirements.• Report on study participants according to regulatory and sponsor requirements. • Carry out any other reasonable task as delegated by the Principal Investigator/ site manager• Conduct procedures related to the enrolment and follow up of study participants. Complete, compile and submit (data capturing) study case report forms (CRFs) and source documentation accurately, comprehensively, timeously and according to GCP standards.• Respond timeously and accurately in keeping with GCP to data queries from Lab, QA and Data staff. • Process and store study documents with strict adherence to documentation handling procedures.
