This year I transitioned to a full-time employee as the Chief Operating Officer and Safety Director at Cowtown Express Inc. In this position, I supervise daily operations to ensure our company goals and strategies -- safety, increased profitability, maximum productivity and employee engagement and retention -- are aligned and executed well.

As VP of Training, I have held a highly collaborative role where I’ve built cross-functional relationships with departmental heads and management across the business. I’ve analyzed training issues with key stakeholders in order to address improve overall operational KPIs. • Provided strategic leadership of short- and long-term goals to implement positive change.• Continually improved the scribe training process and curriculum which led to annual savings of $1M when we transitioned from classroom training to a blended learning approach.• Created customer survey strategy and evaluated provider feedback to identify training topics for ongoing education in order to ensure superior scribe programs. • Managed $10M annual budget which included software, personnel, travel, executive training and training of 4000 scribes each year. • Identified operations inefficiencies of key job roles and created key performance indicator metrics. This resulted in an organizational restructure that increased workload capacities and decreased headcount.• Evaluated multiple learning management systems. Key decision maker on system selection. Project lead for LMS implementation and integration with legacy systems.• Collaborated with industry leaders through needs analyses to determine the final skills needed to be a professional scribe. Developed 110+ hours of e-learning and self-paced learning content.

• Developed the IAMSCRIBE University training process and curriculum. • Provided hands on training as well as management of 15 instructors across the country. • Monitored, evaluated and educated 1000+ floor trainers in hospitals nationwide.• Created quality assurance program for employees in the field including to comply with The Joint Commission and CMS guidelines.

As the operations manager, I was responsible for identifying the needs of our clients to improve patient flow and satisfaction. I managed 30 scribes personnel in 15 outpatient facilities across Dallas-Fort Worth. Tasks included: hiring, training, scheduling and processing terminations when necessary.
