For as long as I can remember, I have loved solving problems. I used to read mystery novels just so I could solve the case before Nancy Drew or the Hardy Boys did, and I have always jumped at the chance to figure out puzzles or ponder over riddles. I carry this love of solving problems into my professional career. I find great value in analyzing all of the available information and coming up with innovative solutions to tackle complex problems. I’m passionate about using my skills to improve my local community. I am currently serving as Chair of the Board of Directors for the both the Truro Pride Society and the Truro Colchester Partnership for Economic Prosperity. Through my work in these local non-profits, I strive to help make Truro/Colchester a more welcoming and inclusive community to live, thrive, and do business in. I have been fortunate to work in a variety of industries and fields, including Automotive, Retail, Project Management, and Data Science. This breadth of experience allows me to view problems from different lenses; balancing the analytical, logistical, and interpersonal aspects of situations to find fair and effective solutions. Through successfully managing teams in both the public and private sectors, I have proven my leadership capabilities and ability to manage people and projects. Team sports have been a large part of my life from a young age. Through my experiences with hockey and lacrosse, I have proven myself to be a hard-working teammate and coach, with the ability to inspire others to achieve a shared goal.
