As the founder of Inospace, I led our team in creating Lisa, a prop tech solution for leasing multi-let commercial portfolios.Lisa is an industry trailblazer in commercial real estate. It boasts advanced features such as automated deal management, tools for nurturing tenant relationships, and powerful leasing analytics.This state-of-the-art platform started as the proprietary software of Inospace but has now expanded to serve other property owners to efficiently oversee their leasing processes within an integrated, real-time ecosystem.By optimising rental rates, boosting occupancy, and bolstering tenant retention, Lisa has transformed the leasing landscape and ushered in a new era of efficiency in commercial property management.

As a young entrepreneur, I became South Africa’s leading figure in auctions and valuations, specialising in distressed assets. While pursuing a Master’s degree in Singapore, I conceptualised Dealcom, a company dedicated to investing in and turning around real estate properties. Dealcom's success led to the creation of Inospace, which focuses on owning and operating serviced logistics parks. Both ventures are built on the philosophy that distressed situations present opportunities for revitalisation and growth.

Cape Town Area, South Africa

As a founding director and developer of Bantry Hills, an emblematic project on the Atlantic Seaboard, I took pride in pioneering one of the area's most substantial developments. Distinguished not just by its luxury but also by its commitment to sustainability, Bantry Hills stands as a self-sufficient entity, boasting its power and water generation capabilities. The inception of Bantry Hills came about not through formal research but during a sabbatical abroad, where I explored alternative property models. This exploration led to the serendipitous development of Bantry Hills, blending luxury with sustainability. My involvement extended to the marketing and sales of units, steering the project to its complete sell-out by 2020. This endeavour underscores my commitment to innovative and sustainable property development, demonstrating a successful model of luxury living harmonised with community building and environmental stewardship.

Johannesburg Area, South Africa

In 2015, I advised and consulted with the Masingita Property Services board on developing and implementing the group's auctions, annual activity plans, sales, human resources, marketing, and financial budgets. I also provided guidance for regular performance measurement and evaluation activities for the organisation's subsidiary auction company (Auction Inc.) to help it meet the objectives of its strategic plan and those of the group's other property services functions.

South West, Singapore

I had the opportunity to represent the investors and provide leadership to the board of directors at Going. Going is an asset wholesaler based in Singapore with both online and offline operations. The company was chaired by Paul Greenberg from Sydney, Australia. We traded assets from China, which were sold through our e-commerce platform to sub-Saharan African countries.

I founded Auction Alliance and served as its Chief Executive Officer. Under my leadership, the company became the most significant auction group in Southern Africa. With the support of a dedicated team, we successfully transformed the company into South Africa's largest auctioneer, overseeing the sale of billions of Rand worth of assets.

While on the board of Asset Alliance, I was involved in steering a company that owned and acquired a diverse portfolio of businesses in financial services, valuations, property inspections, and the business broking sector. Through a strategic partnership with Transaction Capital, a Johannesburg Stock Exchange-listed company, we significantly expanded the financial services arm of Alliance Group Capital. Leveraging the balance sheet of Transaction Capital, we established a joint venture with First National Bank. Notable individuals such as Jonny Jawno, Michael Mendelowitz, and retailer Mark Lamberti also served on the board alongside me.One of our key achievements was attracting seasoned bankers Gary Palmer and Michael Barr to establish and manage Alliance Finance. This subsidiary provided debt and equity funding to commercial property buyers. We successfully utilised Alliance Finance's sales channels to drive revenue. Eventually, the business underwent a management buyout and was acquired by its Managing Director, Gary Palmer, who rebranded it as Paragon Lending. Alliance has acquired several complementary businesss in the asset and real estate valuation sector, which allowed the company to value the assets we needed as security for commercial property loans.

In 1998, my brother Mark Levitt and I took the initiative to co-found SalesBid.com. This venture pioneered e-commerce, offering diverse services and assets through our innovative sales and marketing platform. Notably, SalesBid achieved the milestone of becoming the first African business to facilitate online real estate sales with the launch of our "Sell Your House With A Mouse Campaign." Initially, I assumed the CEO role before transitioning to a non-executive Director position after appointing a new CEO to lead the company.

Johannesburg Area, South Africa

I served as the Managing Director of Seeff Auctions, a fully-owned subsidiary of Seeff Holdings Ltd. The company had operational offices in the Western Cape, Southern Cape, and Gauteng. During my tenure, Seeff Holdings was acquired by the financial services group Capital Alliance. Subsequently, I spearheaded a management buyout of the company, rebranding it as Auction Alliance.

I founded Liveco when I was a 21-year-old student at the University of Cape Town. Liveco quickly became one of the most prominent auction companies in the Western Cape. Based in Cape Town's Northern Suburbs, Liveco specialized in auctioning distressed assets. It started in a small warehouse on the outskirts of Bellville, focusing on auctions of distressed assets for attorneys, executors, and corporate clients. The business gained recognition by conducting successful auctions that attracted media attention. I grew the business during a period of high interest rates, working in the distressed assets sector. Within three years, several people joined the company, generating interest from institutions, including Seeff Holdings, which was planning to list on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. At the age of 24, I sold the business, leading to my appointment as the managing director of the merged entity, Seeff Auctions. I led Levco Group until 1995.
