I have recently commenced a position with Access Industries, with the aim to extend their business for them into the Food & Beverage Industry.Access Industries specializes in contract secondary packaging. We have been in business for 71 years with a blended workforce of Supported (employees with disabilities) and non-Supported employees, therefore run as a Not for Profit organization. Our mission is to offer viable employment to people with a disability (for our full story you can check out our video on our website –www.accessindustries.com.au). Unlike other organizations, our focus is solely on giving our workforce long-term sustained employment in our operations. One of the benefits of working with Access Industries for the Disabled is that we assist in meeting Social Procurement goals. We have long term collaborations with our customers some over +40 years. We also run two operations here in Sydney, within their warehouses, which has the benefit of that they retain control of their stock and avoid further freight charges.Our operation in Seven Hills, NSW (2013 renovation) is a state-of-the-art facility. It is temperature-controlled and has HACCP, TGA, APVMA certification for Secondary Packaging and labelling. Due to the nature of how we do business, we can do virtually anything with secondary contract packing.
