As a Business Development Manager I expand market share through new business development, sales opportunities and by providing full end-to-end customer sales and account management. I generate new business through outside sales activities such as cold calls, prospecting, territory planning, and relationship building. The TIA (Transportation Intermediaries Association) awarded me with a full scholarship for the CTB (Certified Trainer Broker) program. The CTB is the highest broker certification that exists in the industry and is the most widely recognized designation among 3PLs.

As a freight broker, I generated leads for new prospects. I created LTL shipping quotes as well as truckload quotes. I booked orders with carriers and was the liaison between the carrier and customer. I stayed up-to-date with market trends in the transportation marketplace. I grew my book of business from 0 to a very successful book and was promoted to senior after just 2 1/2 years in the industry.

As a Workforce Development Specialist II, I conducted interviews to assess client needs, disseminated information and facilitated access to workforce development programs, and provided employment counseling services. I maintained case records for the State of Texas.

Galveston, Texas

As Director of Roadshow Operations I oversaw the efficient operation and personnel of the Lt. Blender's roadshow department across the United States. I reported directly to the CEO. I created and executed roadshows to support business and revenue objections. Applicants were recruited by placing job advertisements, networking, and using job sites. I handled the hiring of all roadshow ambassadors.

As Regional Marketing Manager I was responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote the dealership’s products and services across multiple locations. This role involved analyzing market trends, coordinating marketing campaigns, and working closely with the sales teams to achieve business objectives. I also managed the CRM and other databases assuring all information was current. I assisted with training new personnel on the different programs. I designed a monthly newsletter that was emailed to over 10,000 people monthly. I designed and executed multiple car shows and special events promoting the brand of the dealerships.
