Created a global supply chain strategy for a private equity-owned global leader in metering solutions for water, gas, and electricity, with more than 7,500 employees and €1.4 billion in revenues. Led a team of external consultants and internal supply chain professionals charged with developing global supply chain improvements throughout all business units. Served as liaison between all members of the project team, coordinating competing priorities in order to deliver targeted metrics on schedule.

Director of Lean Sigma and Strategic Supply Chain Programs and Customer CareDeveloped and implemented comprehensive process improvement strategies (Lean & Six Sigma) for the European, Emerging Markets, and Canadian regions for a global leader in medical device technology with more than $11.2 billion in annual revenue and 36,000 employees. Coordinated strategic supply chain programs, hired and trained project managers, and introduced Lean and Six Sigma tools within manufacturing, logistics and distribution, supply chain, customer service, and sales functions.• Implemented Lean and Six Sigma process improvements in previously unexplored areas, including sales and marketing and customer service, resulting in significant annual cost savings and sustainable improvements in on-time delivery performance.• Launched a “Lean Sigma Prescription for Healthcare” initiative that created new service offerings for key customers and provided process improvement support for hospitals.• Led the European Customer Care program credited with enhancing quality of service and improving the overall customer service function throughout the region.

Implemented an innovative sourcing strategy for low cost regions (LCR), leading a cross functional team charged with identifying and moving an annual spend of more than $100 million to these areas. Oversaw supplier auditors, project leaders, and supplier engineers in Poland, Hungary, and China, providing leadership and coaching proven to increase productivity and improve results.

Responsible for daily operations of newly constructed manufacturing site.Focus areas: staffing & organisation, manufacturing operations, supply chain management, ISO & SAP implementation and financial performance.Hired and built high performing, cross-functional management team (15 direct reports).

Managed all aspects of the start-up and operation of a new greenfield manufacturing facility in Poland, from negotiating favourable investment conditions to selecting location of new site, to hiring builders to directing the opening of the new facility. Directed staffing and organisation, manufacturing operations, and supply chain management functions for 950 employees manufacturing 11 different product lines, and implemented ISO and SAP processes.

Utilised Six Sigma methodologies and processes to significantly improve business processes and increase efficiency.
