Full responsibility over the biodiesel business unit:- Full P&L responsibility over a business unit with 80 M€ turnover.- Trading of vegetable oils, biodiesel & gasoil, position taking & risk management.- Key account management.- Lobbying through sector federations.

Responsible for purchasing:- For all plants (4 in the EU, 2 outisde the EU) : purchase of chemicals, energy & precious metals, responsible for taking positions in the energy & palladium market.- For the business unit derivatives (2 plants in the EU, 2 outisde the EU) : responsible for taking strategic positions in purchasing raw materials. Due to the direct influence on profit of this BU there is a close contact with business managers and the sales director.- Optimizing purchasing policy, structuring processes & workflows of the purchase department.

Responsible for a strategic diversification project:- Market study and prospection of different segments of the technical textile" market.- Adaptation of production facilities (6 M€ investment).- Development and production start-up of a range of geotextiles.- Market penetration from scratch : prospection, defining market needs, product development, setting-up distribution networks.
