I’m a software engineer currently working as a front-end developer for a(n) eSports company. In my daily activities, I develop applications and screens using Vue.js by following the best practices and using the most updated resources available.I'm a former geologist, and as I worked on different projects in my career to solve day-to-day problems with increasing complexity, I became more passionate about software development. With time, making a career change seemed more like a natural move for me. Thus, I’m confident in my ability to solve problems by delivering high-quality, functional code and that my experience and skills can bring positive results as a developer/engineer. As I worked on different projects, I could improve my knowledge on web development. On the backend, I developed RESTful APIs using Node.js that can handle user authentication and authorization, data gathering from multiple sources, and integration with PostgreSQL databases and external APIs. I also have know-how in using popular Node.js frameworks like Nest.js and deployment with Docker and GCP. On frontend side, I’ve created responsive user interfaces with React and Vue.js that meet clean code practices, handle data states using ApolloClient API, communicate with back-end sources using GraphQL and RESTful architectural patterns, and provide interactive data visualizations using D3.js and Leaflet.
