We are a non-profit association and our origin was inspired by organizations and movements that already operate in other Brazilian cities and are part of a broad network of organizations called the Cities Network for Fair, Democratic and Sustainable Territories, launched in Belo Horizonte in 2008. Our purpose is to contribute to the construction of fairer, more democratic and sustainable cities in Curitiba and its Metropolitan Region. For this to happen, we will act to Develop, monitor and disclose reliable indicators and targets;Promote participation, education, and civic and citizen dialogue;Politically influence the planning and management of the territory;Build local and global collaborative articulations;Elaborate innovative socio-environmental solutions and technologies;Implement projects and initiatives that contribute to the sustainable and resilient prosperity of the region;All our actions and projects are aligned with our three axes of action: 1. Sustainable Development and Quality of Life; 2. Participatory and Inclusive Democracy; and 3. Equity and Social Justice.
