My Name is Rafael Magallanes Jr. and I grew up in the Northside of Denver, Colorado.I am the first generation of my family to attend college and my career choice isto become an Architect. To this day I have gained Knowledge in the creation anddesign of construction documents in Revit and AutoCAD. I have had the great opportunityto work in the homebuilding industry with CalAtlantic Homes as a Product DevelopmentAssociate. Under my position I am tasked with the redlining of Architecturalplans for all communities. My ability to understand the importance of having ConstructionDocuments that are concise and accurate gives me the drive to push for a quickrevision turnaround. I exemplify my ability to resolve problems by keeping a personalconnection to all field and trade partners in their concerns to deliver the quality homesour customers expect. I began as an intern with the CalAtlantic team and have risen tothe tasks of keeping and monitoring a Tracking Document that the trades use in theirresponsibilities and provides the information they need to meet deadlines and addressreal time concerns for our homes.I strive to better my knowledge in sustainable design. By living in the DenverMetro area I see the past, present, and want to be a part of the future neighborhoodinfrastructure. Being a part of a design orientated group will give me the opportunity toapply myself to what I care about. My self-motivation will make me a great asset to allwork I am given the chance to do. I have a strong work ethic which I feel is the bestasset for excelling in an office work environment. I have the ability to work in severalother office programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. I am proficient inAdobe Creative Suite from Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
