As an Assistant Project Manager, I assist in managing deadlines, budgets, and scope while coordinating the selection and integration of UAV components with stakeholders. This includes overseeing aspects such as carbon fiber manufacturing, engine systems, parachute mechanisms, command and control systems, autopilot controllers, and air data systems.- Managed stakeholders from internal (electrical, structural, and operational supervisors) and external (suppliers, consultants, Provincial and Federal Agencies) teams.- Monitored the progress and completion of project milestones to meet budget requirements such as the power distribution design and its corresponding documentation.- Implemented Priority Matrix to decide the importance and urgency of action items as they relate to the scope, budget, and schedule of the UAV prototype manufacturing.- Identified, classified, and tracked project issues such as long lead times (i.e. winglet mold), integration problems (i.e. Command & Control systems), regulatory hurdles (i.e. permits), using the RAID log.- Tracked project expenses such as avionics and electrical equipment, manufacturing, integration, and testing by using Excel.- Analyzed cutting-edge technologies to identify the most adequate fit for our needs and used the Controlled Goods Program clearance to enforce Government requirements.- Improved communication among 50 stakeholders and partners from the USA, Canada, Greece, Italy, and Germany which streamlined UAV design, software and hardware integration, and testing.- Managed and coordinated key design deliverables including modifications, hardware, and software integration by utilizing project managements tools such as rolling action item list (RAIL).- Represented Orenda UAV at AUVSI XPonential in Orlando 2022 and Denver 2023, the world’s largest non-profit organization dedicated to advancing uncrewed systems and robotics.

Myself and 4 other Ryerson engineering students have created a start-up called Edmima. Our company Edmima, has the goal to create a smartphone application encompassed by a social movement to educate, minimize and manage potential concussion incidents concerning youth athletes. The application is inspired by Rowan’s Law and the social movement born from her story will encourage youth to speak up about their symptoms regarding head trauma. We want to change the cultures perspective on concussions and raise awareness in order to make youth-sports concussion free by 2025. The #ConcussionSpiningChallenge is the initial campaign of our social movement.

As a Virtual Engineering Outreach Ambassador my main responsibilities are to develop outreach engineering activities for youth in middle school and high school. Our primary goals are to encourage youth to pursue an engineering education in college/university and to empower girls/women in the engineering field by running workshops such as Go Code Girl. Some of the workshops that I will be designing will focus on drones, intelligent mouth guards and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). I will use software like Onshape, Scratch and more to help me bring these workshops to fruition.

As a Virtual Outreach Ambassador my primary role is to design, plan and deliver engineering activities through an online format for participants in elementary and middle school. The Eureka summer program allows participants to take part of a 4 week extensive science and engineering experience where they learn about various concepts in an interactive way. Some of the engineering activities are 3D modeling a jet using TinkerCad, using biomimicry to make fin grippers and making casein plastic.

As an Engineering Outreach Ambassador at Ryerson University my role is to plan, test and execute engineering-based workshops, activities and presentations for middle school and high school students all throughout Toronto. The main goal is to intrigue and inspire students about STEM and engineering by introducing concepts such as design, 3D CAD modeling, coding, Arduino and problem solving. The main audience will be all-female, Co-Ed and parent-student groups. Some of the activities that will be conducted include GoEng, Engineering Experience and Go Code Girl.

As an Engineering Outreach Camp Counselor at Ryerson University my role is to brainstorm, plan, test, manage and execute engineering-inspired activities for the participants. There are +20 unique activities that must be planned for the entirety of the camp. Each activity has different material, budget, report and testing requirements. The goal is to inspire the next generation about STEM and the Ryerson engineering experience. Activities range from prosthetic arms (Biomedical Engineering) to rocketry (Aerospace Engineering).
