2019 - May 2023 · 4 years 5 months- Performed molecular biology techniques: RNA extraction and cDNA synthesis from 40 samples, evaluating the expression of 8 genes, by real-time PCR, for 3 months.- I implemented three relevant methodologies for my research and that of my collaborators, in about six months, with the objective of evaluating parameters induced by the intestinal lesion induced by chemotherapy and parameters associated with the control of this disease, obtaining… Show more 2019 - May 2023 · 4 years 5 months- Performed molecular biology techniques: RNA extraction and cDNA synthesis from 40 samples, evaluating the expression of 8 genes, by real-time PCR, for 3 months.- I implemented three relevant methodologies for my research and that of my collaborators, in about six months, with the objective of evaluating parameters induced by the intestinal lesion induced by chemotherapy and parameters associated with the control of this disease, obtaining promising results.- I performed the processing of about 100 biological samples from mice for dosage of tryptophan metabolites, by liquid chromatography (UPLC-MS), whose methodology I helped in the implementation, from protocols present in the literature, obtaining satisfactory results.- I carried out the cultivation and isolation of bacteria that make up the intestinal microbiota in culture media, to quantify intestinal bacteria after treatment with chemotherapy in mice.- Performed the technique of bacterial DNA isolation and conventional PCR for sequencing bacterial DNA present in the microbiota of mice, with the objective of evaluating the differences between the composition of the microbiota of healthy and sick animals.- Worked in a team, with about 5 collaborators.- I guided an intern and taught some laboratory techniques to two employees.- Performed the analysis of the results obtained, using Microsoft Excel and GraphPad Prisma.- I had my work selected for oral presentation at a symposium and presented posters at scientific events, in which I participated.
