Working in soft sensors for humanoid robots at the molecular mechatronics lab in the University of British Columbia.

Assisted PhD students with their research by running genotyping, animal care and animal behaviour in a fast paced environment. Worked with a microCT scanner independently by running scans and performing evaluations for data acquisition. Used Solidworks to design new lab apparatus for animal behaviour and surgeries following researcher's needs and specifications.

Carried out a week long student orientation program for new students to UBC’s Engineering program. Continued to engage with students throughout the term by sending biweekly check in emails and organizing biweekly meetups. Developed problem solving skills by participating in monthly staff meetings and discussing new strategies for student engagement

Tutored high school students ages ranging from 12 to 18 in subjects such as chemistry, math and calculus. Adapted different teaching methods to different students based on their level of understanding and their different ways of learning. Developed extensive social skills by tutoring students with different personalities and backgrounds
