Exchange program with fully-funded scholarship at Univerzita Hradec Králové. While in my exchange program, I had the opportunity to attend the Sales and Advertising course and to work on a project which gave me a broader view of how companies must pay attention to human behaviors. Among other things, I learned how cultural and economic issues, groups preferences and technological development should also be paid attention in order to not only reach the ideal customer, but also to speak up the company’s identity. Overall, this project made me reflect on the importance of worldwide connections to create synergies, improving the way companies make business and serve the society. The main skills I acquired through this international experience were: - Empathy in dealing with many people from different backgrounds, cultures, languages and life experiences; - Communication, as I experienced many situations in which I had to make myself very clear and precise while providing or asking for guidance; - Proactivity, in having to take initiatives for my good development as a student, professional and person; - Responsibility, as I was out of my comfort zone, in a foreign country and having to deal with bureaucratic and unpredictable situations; - Sense of opportunity, once I was living in a completely different place, with different experiences and possibilities, I tried to do the best I could to take advantage and learn something new in every single situation.
