Developing multiple components of the StormForge ecosystem using Helm, Go and Kubernetes controller runtime: • A lightweight Kubernetes controller to efficiently discover, aggregate and write metrics to Prometheus that feed the Machine Learning. • An agent to pull and securely apply Kubernetes resources patches based on StormForge Machine Learning recommendations.

Lead and contribute to multiple strategic projects at VMware:- Architect and inventor of a Kubernetes migrator to move workloads agnostically across clouds & Kubernetes distributions & ingress controllers. In this project, I am the technical lead for a team of 10 engineers across three timezones writing Kubernetes operators, controllers, and Velero plugins.- Lead author of the 45-page white paper “Best Practices for Red Hat OpenShift on the VMware SDDC” (see publications section) which has been used extensively by pre/post-sales field engineers to engage new personas within organizations and enhance their Kubernetes practices.- Lead author of OCTO Flings (Research and Development artifacts - see publications section), and multiple open-source contributions in Project Velero (Kubernetes data protection framework).

Containers Global Engineering Lead: I formulated and executed the global containers strategy for the bank: Kubernetes, Openshift, Docker, all container-related technologies and practices such as security, CI/CD, HPC, data persistency, automation, monitoring, orchestration & scheduling, deployment of clusters, operationalization, configuration-enforcement, audit compliance, etc.With Kubernetes, Citigroup was an earlier adopter of the cloud-native paradigm and deployed more than 300 containerized applications in production, reducing their time-to-market drastically. I technically led the ambitious and aggressive expansion of the enterprise container platform to AWS and GCP, productizing Openshift clusters with 50k cores. The success of this project yielded millions of dollars of saving for the bank, unlocking compute capacity for seasonal financial risk calculations. I managed a team of 10+ skilled engineers and tech leads across six time zones in a truly DevOps fashion: scrum, agile, Kanban.Between 2013 and 2016, I was the Global Engineer Lead on HPC and Grid computing (powered by IBM Symphony). Citi Grid was one of the most extensive grids in the financial industry, with greater than 100 million tasks being executed a day.
