- To coordenate and perform COST Campaign, with parts cost assesment on the perimeter of Powertrain with suppliers and Purchase Department;- To participate on negociations with Purchase Department, equiping it with the necessary technical argumentation to face information with supplier;- To perform profitability studies to assess the effectiveness of technical, supply, process and logistics comparing the gains with the required investments;- To participate on strategic groups of technical evolutions of the parts that correspond to the perimeter of Powertrain, helping to valorize the selexted parts cost evolution for each work team.- To help on the preparation of the quarterly presentation of these strategical groups made for Renault's Engineering Vice-President;- To assess production processes in suppliers, as Brabant, Tupy, Continental, Magnetti Marelli, Delga, Dana, Nemak, Mecaplast, Mann+Hummel, WHB, Delphi, Sifco, TRW, Mahle, KS Pistons, Wahler, FBA, etc; searching for opportunities of cost reduction and optimizations in several production technologies, as Plastic Injection, Foundry, Forging, Welding, Machining, High Pressure Die Casting, etc...
