I partnered with our recruiting team to develop a strategy for expanding Route's brand across the Americas, hiring the first non-US engineer for Route and helping Route to legally and in-compliance expand our teams in Brazil, Costa Rica, Argentina, and Mexico. Through these efforts, we've increased Route's global presence and customer reach.

As Senior Software Engineering Manager, I managed the B2B team at Route, responsible for providing a unique experience for the brands that use our product. We maintained and continuously improved Route's public API, ensuring it met the needs of our customers. By working closely with our brands, I helped Route increase its market share by developing extensions to even more eCommerce platforms.

As Software Engineer Manager, I led the Platforms Integration Team, responsible for developing plugins and extensions to popular eCommerce platforms, such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, Bold, BigCommerce, and more. We focused on providing the best and easiest onboarding experience for merchants that want to add Route to their eCommerce. I worked with multiple technologies, languages, and frameworks, including React, NodeJS, PHP, MySQL, Docker, and AWS, to ensure we delivered top-notch solutions.

After a year of serving as one of the Senior Software Engineers at ThoughtLab, I was promoted to Software Engineering Manager. In this role, I provided technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, guiding their efforts towards successful project delivery. I implemented best practices around CI/CD, code reviews, pair programming, and other development practices to improve our development process. My experience in PHP, Javascript, MySQL, WordPress, Scrum, NoSQL, and Vue.js, in addition to my front-end expertise, allowed me to provide valuable insights to the team and drive project success.

At ThoughtLab, a renowned Utah-based agency, I worked on a variety of exciting and challenging projects. As the primary front-end developer, I leveraged my expertise in Angular, NativeScript, and Electron, and later React to develop robust and scalable applications for our clients. One of the most significant projects I worked on was the development of a cryptocurrency exchange platform for trading Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dash. My knowledge in crypto allowed me to not only contribute as a front-end developer but also act as a mentor to the team on crypto-safety related conversations such as cold storage, key management, and withdrawals.

After almost four years working for agencies in Brazil, I decided to take a bold step and start my own company with a co-founder. The journey was both exhilarating and challenging, but we poured all our energy and passion into building something we could be truly proud of. With our shared expertise in web development and e-commerce, we set out to create a company that would deliver exceptional digital experiences for clients across Brazil.As we worked to establish our company, we took great care to hire talented engineers and provide them with the mentorship and guidance they needed to grow and thrive. With a team of 16 people, we were able to tackle a wide range of projects and develop deep expertise in cutting-edge technologies.Our agency quickly gained a reputation for delivering top-quality work and exceptional customer service. We were thrilled to be able to make a real impact in the digital world and help our clients achieve their goals.However, after several years of building and growing our company, I felt the pull of a new adventure. I decided to move to the United States to pursue new opportunities and continue my career in a new country. Although it was bittersweet to leave my agency behind, I was excited to take on new challenges and explore new horizons.

At Jogatina, I had the opportunity to work in game development for the first time in my career. I joined the team as a Software Engineer and was responsible for the development of games using ActionScript 2 and 3, as well as integrating the games with the SmartFox server for multiplayer functionality. Additionally, I was responsible for managing the game data using MySQL databases. While I enjoyed my time at Jogatina and learned a lot about game development, I ultimately decided to leave in search of new challenges and opportunities to expand my skills and experience.

At Agência Azul, I worked in many different eCommerce projects, from WooCommerce to Magento, being responsible for both front-end and back-end development. I also had the opportunity to work on large-scale web applications using Laravel and Vue.js. I was responsible for leading and mentoring a team of developers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within the agreed timelines and budgets. Additionally, I contributed to the development of the company's best practices for software development, including code review processes, continuous integration and deployment, and project management methodologies. Overall, my role at Agência Azul allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the eCommerce landscape, while further developing my technical and leadership skills.

As a Software Engineer at Grupo Sal, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects throughout the year, gaining experience with a range of technologies and challenges. My focus was primarily on ActionScript and 3D animations, but I also began to work on back-end projects for eCommerce. Specifically, I was responsible for developing payment processing and fulfillment systems, expanding my skill set and helping to drive successful project outcomes.

At Linha de Código, I began my career as a Junior Software Engineer. In this role, I was responsible for developing new product pages and email marketing, as well as maintaining the second largest website in Brazil for coding tutorials, courses, and other learning resources.During my time at Linha de Código, I took every opportunity to share my knowledge and expertise with other engineers. I regularly wrote articles and tutorials, which were published on the website. One of my articles, which covered ActionScript, became one of the most viewed articles on the website.I'm proud to have started my career at Linha de Código, where I gained valuable experience in software engineering, honed my skills as a developer, and had the opportunity to share my knowledge with others.
