Mechanical Engineering InternIn my role as a maintenance intern in the mechanical engineering field, my main activities were:> Organization and cleaning of tools, machines, and equipment.> Improving and standardizing processes while implementing optimizations.> Understanding and shadowing activities within the engineering and maintenance department, reading and interpreting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings.> Shadowing maintenance personnel in routine activities, such as maintenance on refrigeration machines, reducers, water pumps, and radial compressors, maintenance on pallet trucks and forklifts, bearing and seal replacement, and maintenance on packaging machines and wrappers.ACHIEVEMENTSProject: The Impact of Data Analysis on the Maintenance Sector of an Industry- In addition to the assigned tasks, I developed a project focused on data analysis in the maintenance sector, as there was previously no such initiative in the industry. To accomplish this, I utilized techniques such as ETL, Business Intelligence, SQL, and Excel.- Through the analysis, initially, it was possible to identify that the preventive maintenance plan was defective, and with the dashboard created, it was possible to develop a new preventive maintenance plan more efficiently, already knowing where and how to improve.- The main outcomes included the identification of issues, patterns, and trends. Subsequently, action plans were implemented based on these findings, positively impacting the sector's performance.
