* I architected and developed a good part of the platform using Ruby on Rails, TestUnit, MongoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch, and a few Amazon services including S3, ETS, KMS, and others.* I developed integrations with a handful of third-party services from YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Twitter, Google, Box.com, a few payment gateways, and a few client’s proprietary content providers, using REST, SOAP, and other protocols.* I contributed on a few open-source projects for new features and to solve high priority bugs on our platform.* I extracted a couple services from our monolith to micro-services built with Elixir, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, GRPC, GraphQL and JWT.* I managed our cloud infrastructure, starting on Linode with Capistrano, then migrated it to a cluster in AWS, later implemented Docker with Terraform, Rancher and CircleCI as we moved to Azure, and I just finished migrating our services to Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform with a full CI/CD pipeline on Gitlab.* I implemented an on-premise version of the platform for a government contract.* I helped implementing a DevOps culture with our team, providing training and mentoring.* I mentored our development team, and helped creating and testing which processes worked for our team using agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, using tools like Jira, GitHub, and Gitlab.

* I implemented some new features and solved bugs on our application built with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Memcached.* I developed integrations with a couple third-party restful API’s.* I implemented a few scrapers for e-commerce sites using Ruby with Hpricot.* I increased our test coverage with RSpec and Cucumber* I improved our search with Solr.* I helped manage our cluster on AWS.

* I implemented a few betting sites scrapers in Python with BeautifulSoup and Selenium.

* I mentored basic and intermediate level Linux classes for freshman students.* I managed and monitored our bare metal Linux server.* I researched and implemented virtual assessments using Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL.
