My name is Rafael Gomes, I am 26 years old, I have a bacheloor´s degree in HR by ISCAP - P.Porto and a postgraduate degree in Quality Management by ESCE - IPVC. I am currently part of the people management team at Ghost Group. And yes, I am lucky to be able to say that I am happy doing what I like.As an HR professional, my goal is to create connections with people and establish mechanisms that facilitate extracting the maximum performance and talent from them and therefore retain them.My story?From my first year of university I defined my long-term career strategy. My focus was to finish my training in HR with a strong knowledge of the labour market and the business fabric of the Alto Minho region (North of portugal). From the choices of the organisations where I did my curricular internships, to my study mobility programme at the University of Vigo, and all the other strategic steps I adopted along these lines, my aim was to develop the most suitable profile to work in HR, in this specific region. Throughout my journey my vision has broadened, this combined with an entrepreneurial attitude and a love of working in challenging environments, motivates me to always be prepared for new challenges all around Portugal and even abroad!Within my career strategy, I invested in diversifying my skills into an area that is indispensable for any professional who sees excellence as the only way to do things. My knowledge in the area of Quality Management, not only allowed me to be more comfortable in an interview process with candidates for functions related to this area, but also provided me with a structured and strategic vision of facing problems, finding their causes and proposing solutions, especially those associated with the HR area.Always available to discuss any topics or to help you.
