Proyecto Cantagallo, under the sponsorship of CORPEI and the World Bank, was a rural development and export project that aimed to the transfer of sustainable agriculture technologies and the improvement of living conditions of 500 peasant families in Cantagallo, Ecuador.As a consultant, I was in charge of the export plan formulation, promotion and commercialization activities for the project.Accomplishments:• Development of a plantation of 50 Has of exportable yuca, placing its production with local exporters of frozen foods.• Provided technical assistance to farmers in business practices.

EBNSA was the largest fruit exporter in Ecuador, owner of the international brand BONITA, with annual exports for more than US$ 300 million.Responsible for the diversification initiative, dealt with local producers and organized complete export operations providing transportation, materials, technical support, etc. Accomplishments:• Control and coordination of export operations: Weekly production planning, Cargo booking, Container logistics, Operations control and coordination, resources and materials logistics, maritime and air shipments, market communications, logistics investigation and new operations development, new export projects financial analysis and evaluation, logistics support to foreign export operations.• Responsible for export logistics of 1000+ 40’ Full Container Loads per year, with a market value of more than US$ 20’000.000, reducing to a minimum inefficiency and bad quality costs.

In charge of the cash flow and financial strategy of the company, renegotiated current debt, managed cash flows, taking the necessary corrective and protective measures.
