As a operations coordinator I have been coordinating a group of highly specialized operations team. Focused on container vessels operations at Brazil's cabotage coast trade. Coordinating also all interactions with partners, suppliers and authorities concerned with this activity.

As agent my principal activity developed was give support to our principal's vessels during their calls at Sepetiba and Rio. Specially container vessels of NYK and China Shipping. Programing the vessel's operations including berthing, number of gangs, start operations, etc. Support with port authorities and clearance with customs broker.

Sepetiba Tecon handled at 2004 the total of 146.000 TEUs and at 2005 the total of 205.000 TEUs.From June 12/1999 up to June 26/1999, training in Lisbon at Terminal de Contentores LISCONT;From June 26/1999 up to June 14/1999, training in Hamburg at EUROKAI Container Terminal , actual EUROGATE;As a planner I worked in all terminals’ planning activities. Ship planning; Load and discharge of steel products, vehicles, general cargo and containers. Yard planning; Stowage and pre stacking steel products, general cargo and containers. Operations planning; Line up (schedule), planning of equipments, labors and priorities, administration of resources to optimize performance and costs. Ships documentation; Mate’s Receipt, Daily Report, Port Log, Statement of Facts, Containers Handling Reports, Bay Plans, EDI files, etc. Usage of COSMOS System Software to handle containers. Statistics; developing of operational statistics using an Excel environment.
