I got hired and started as a manual tester for one of the sub projects and helping run the automated tests. The team was mostly US based (4 testers, PO, SM, and the Test lead) and the Brazilian team had the person responsible for the project test automation and myself. After two months this colleague left the company and since I had previous experiences with UFT (QTP) and already was contributing with minor improvements to the test scripts I was relocated to the test automation role.The test automation was done using UFT and a framework developed in the company for reporting, interactions with the web application, and other functionalities. Test cases and test results were tracked using ALM, the team used teamCity for CI, HipChat, emails, webEx for communication, and Jira for tracking progress. Our sprints were 2 weeks long and there were monthly deploys to production in which we participate in the testing.From June 15th of 2015 to December of 2015.Still at e-core I participated in a selection to work for Pico Trading - a global market data services provider.
