Hi, I am an aspiring Cybersecurity enthusiast, currently looking for work.Prior to my shift into cybersecurity, I was deep into physical security, starting when I joined the military as a US Marine for four years and afterward spending an additional 4 in different security contracts and private contracting. My niche within the industry was working amongst others and being in leadership positions to help achieve mission objectives. Nothing brings me much pride and joy than finishing together and accomplishing a challenging task with my team.However, I found myself drawn to cybersecurity because I realized there was more to security than just the physical threats. In today's age, cyber threats have become just as much of a concern to society if not more than physical threats. My strengths include dependability, critical thinking, and communication.I enjoy/am most proud of my ability to think outside the box, see the strengths of others, and time management. I take pleasure in engaging in challenging mud runs and readying myself for the most demanding obstacles. The sense of community is unparalleled, filled with individuals who are always ready to lend a hand with a positive attitude. In addition to my physical pursuits, I am passionate about business and take an interest in discovering new marketing strategies and concepts. I am looking forward to/looking for/exploring opportunities in cybersecurity so that I can dive deeper into the field and one day be a part of the fighting force against cyber threats to help protect what we all value most, our privacy.
