Created Oceano Consulting company in May 2016, due a market demand for financial and management solutions into small and medium sized companies in Brazil.Worked as an independent consultant assisting in finance, budgeting and management for some clients, including: creating financial control tools for daily expenses and revenues follow-up; implementing management solutions as strategic planning for short, medium and long terms; identifying bottlenecks to help the achievement of operational goals; budgeting planning and monthly follow-up to cross the expenses goals with actual results.

Assisted in finance and budgeting for all phases of the trust fund cycle, including: review of project documents and corresponding budgets to ensure they are accurate, reasonable and in line with project proposals;  verifying business partner information (BP);  ensuring BP banking information was accurate;  sending requests for BP to be set up in Umoja;  requesting projects/grants be set up in Umoja; requesting remittance to NGO and implementing partners;  reviewing financial reports prior to release of subsequent tranche remittances;  maintaining a database to track remittances, expenditures and refunds; reviewing projects for financial closure ensuring that all activities and reporting and monitoring and evaluation are complete.  Assisted in the conversion of UNFIP and UNDEF to Umoja  by conducting extensive data analysis, and assisting in data cleansing and data validation exercises.Assisted in the analysis of a wide range of financial data using Excel and other programs.  Analysis of income and expenditure data required for preparation of financial statements for management and advisory board meetings.

Assisted on Operational Excellence projects putting in practice the PDCA methodology in complex situations and helping on different aspects of the projects, including: understanding the importance of KPI’s on a business as a way to control and achieve the company’s target; working on a multidisciplinary teams, with a large agenda and strict deadline for the activities. Aquila Institute assigned me to join a project at Nystar Mining in Mexico which the objective was to save five million dollars in a year and my duties included: directly involvement with the financial aspects of the company; creating a tool connecting the three core departments of the company – mining, plant and commercial; compiling the operational daily data for the management meeting where strategic decisions were taken based on those KPIs; searching for operational bottlenecks and bringing solutions for them together with the technical experts of each area. Due my past experience with supermarket chains, Aquila institute involved me in DMA Supermarkets project, which my responsibilities included: compiling budget and financial data; controlling the budgeting goals from the departments; assisting at the cost reduction target for several stores.

LAR Imports was a company that was created by me and other two partners. All the managerial and commercial follow-up control was my responsibility, including the development of the business and trademark at the very beginning.My duties included: responsibility for the financial and management department, budgeting the different projects; dealing with all the commercial aspects of the company; maintaining tracking database of our different projects; contacting our suppliers all around the world; interacting with international clients daily; controlling the shipping documentation from every project; negotiating the best payment options for each project; developing a cash-flow control for the company.

Assisted with financial data analysis and manipulation for the Economical Research Department of the bank, including: reaching and compiling financial loans data for the department; consolidating data along with charts and graphs for supporting the managers as decision tools; working with Strategic Planning and Balanced Scorecard methodology; assisting on the monthly target's control data from several departments; gathering all the data with the departments and fulfilling the controlling tools every month to extract the Balance Scorecard KPI's; researching and compiling economical data and other information required by senior colleagues in the review and analysis of relevant topics.
