About Rafael Nahat

I work in two areas in parallel: Research & Development in chemical engineering and IT. They overlap at the Industry 4.0, which is why I love digital transformation projects: on one hand I get to work on groundbreaking technologies in exciting fields such as biotechnology, bioeconomy, renewable energy, mining and the chemical industry; on the other hand, I get to develop the hardware and software which ensure that all these innovations will integrate well with companies as well as into the everyday life of their end customers. I also love to learn and teach.

    - Construction and validation of a predictive genome-scale metabolic model of a bacterial strain (Pseudomonas sp. LFM046) for use in bioprocess development (primary focus: biodegradable plastic. Found a very rare hardware flaw in 5 computer workstations of the company, solving the apparently random crashes caused by their interplay in the intranet, and thus increasing the productivity of the whole team
