Hiya! I'm Raf, and I've completed both a Bachelor of International Studies with a major in Japanese, and the Global Leadership Program; a co-curricular initiative at Macquarie University. Prior to taking my undergrad, I studied around Australia and the Philippines, in which I returned to Sydney to study about the intricacies of international cultures and societies. During my third year in 2021, I volunteered at the Kyoto University of Foreign Studies; during which I aided in the teaching of English as a second language through online tandem learning as a head teaching assistant.Currently, I work with many international students and workers in both the tertiary education and hospitality industries, while pursuing a master's degree at the University of Technology Sydney and co-authoring a book chapter on TA efficiency and cross-linguistic team building.Always happy to connect and have a chat with like-minded people who are interested in learning more about this constantly diversifying world!
