• The IPC position is a business development role that revolves around inbound international recruitment within the UTS Faculty of Law and focuses on partner development and maintenance across international universities, pathway partners, agent networks, companies, and schools for student recruitment and conversion activities• Supports inbound and outbound international mobility, such as New Colombo Plan applications, exchange programs, and internships• Significant international marketing for events, preparing material and managing multiple social media accounts• Works across multiple teams such as country working groups, pathways partner maintenance groups, engagement summaries, etc.Additional Duties:• International Engagement Committee (IEC) Secretary• India Country Working Group Observer

Within the Lifetime Learner Experience (LLE) unit, the CASO role supports various teams within the LLE unit by assisting prospective and current students, and the general public in all aspects of the student lifecycle. A few of the responsibilities include:• Responding to high volumes of enquiries from the student community, general public, and affiliated stakeholders via UTS' online portals, in-person, and over the phone• Representing the university in official events, such as open days and graduation ceremonies• Working with a variety of teams within the unit, and providing administrative aid to support the provision of overall LLE service delivery• Supporting, advising, and training of new team members

Under the UTS International: Compliance, Insights, and Relations (CIR) team, the IRA role predominantly works on the events and operations of the team, with some of the responsibilities revolving around the:• Organisation and preparation of physical and virtual onshore short programs and delegation visits, working on elements such as program agendas, templates, presentations, catering & group logistics, and setting up rooms, venues & facilities• Overall administrative and logistical aid revolving around database & shared inbox management, data entry, interdepartmental communication & liaising, gift procurement, purchasing, packing & distribution, and website & background checks• Hosts presentations, meetings, and provides guidance & group accompaniment to external stakeholders such as prospective students, families, and international delegates & executives to UTS facilities and site visits

Coinciding with the International Relations' event-focused projects, with an increased workload down the agreements pipeline, the administrative role predominantly focuses on internal processes such as:• Assisting and updating internal stakeholder signatories for agreements and related statuses, combined with collating information required to facilitate due diligence, and decisions on agent and partner appointments• Adding and updating agreements (i.e. MOUs, exchange, research, collaboration agreements, etc.), institutions, and vital records with various university-wide internal systems

As a secondary occupation, I enjoy working on the ground in the hospitality industry to engage with all sorts of stakeholders and to learn from colleagues and external stakeholders alike.• Extensive experience in high-volume customer service with dynamic attention to detail and rapport building• Receive and package orders, deliveries, and stocktake - both retail and edible goods• Reinforce overall front-of-house team during heavy customer flows to ensure stable and excellent service• Operate cash register for cash, card, and other forms of transactions• Perform end-of-day cash reconciliation by creating daily reports• Aid in the training and onboarding of new retail employees• Plan and host events to foster employee relationships to maintain and improve a cohesive work environment

Following the completion of my university placement, I volunteered to continue the internship independently and continued to aid in the transformation of online tandem learning and TEFL teaching, in which some of the responsibilities included:• Oversaw and managed a student-centred classroom of 7 teaching assistants and 22 university students• Onboarded and advised TAs through previous experience on aspects such as how to conduct their meetings and general interactions with their students to promote a fun yet productive academic environment and rapport building• Facilitated discussions in a classroom setting on aspects such as TEFL concepts and teaching methodologies to promote andragogical learning• Collaborated with, coordinated, and organised meetings with various student teams• Reviewed the course's syllabus and outline in collaboration with our supervisor, along with creating, revising, and marking major tests and assignments• Developed and conducted activities for use in the classroom

Participated in the Kyoto University at Foreign Studies’ TEFL course as a Teaching Assistant as a part of my final year at Macquarie University. Through the internship, a few responsibilities included aspects such as, but not limited to:• Collaborated with 4 other teaching assistants and aided a classroom of 25 university students• Planned courses, lesson plans, and activities for the classroom and independent TA teams• Marked and evaluated student assessments, quizzes, and exams• Employed various teaching methods and approaches to help university students learn to become English teachers• Worked with students individually and in small groups to aid and reinforce learning content, assignments, and understanding – both in and out of the classroom

• Monitored overall stock, supplies, and food to maintain inventory• Operated on numerous stations around the restaurant, such as the kitchen and front counter customer service• Maintained cleanliness of the entire restaurant• Assisted crew members and management with opening and pre-closing duties
