- Director, Risk & Insurance for upstream and downstream energy, offshore and onshore, including contractual, legal and risk analysis in respect of operational projects, construction, new bids and demobilization or decommissioning of projects.- Management of upstream and downstream energy / oil & gas, both onshore and offshore, marine and shipbuilding insurances such as Hull & Machinery, Loss of Hire, Business Interruption (BI), P&I (Protection & Indemnity), CGL (Comprehensive General Liability), Liability, Property, CAR (Construction All Risks), Shipyard / ship repairs’ insurance, MII (Mortgage Interest Insurance), MAPP (Mortgagees' Additional Perils - Pollution), War and Related Risks etc;- Identification, analysis and mitigation of risks and exposures in a corporate level (ERM), with a focus on finding ways to establish responses to risks in order to avoid or reduce tangible and intangible losses, based on the policies and guidelines in force as well as continuous improvement of the processes and results.- Development (or review) of corporate risk and insurance policies.- Loss prevention and claims handling.- Risk Engineering of downstream units, such as refineries and petrochemical units.- Promoting internal risk and insurance culture.- Review and improvement of insurance wordings; Development of multi-line insurances.- Relationship with lender’s insurance advisors and diligence of financial obligations on loan agreements (Project Bond and Project Finance deals).- Risk Assessment and risk rating of offshore operations and assets as drilling rigs, production platforms (FPSOs), PLVSs and offshore EPCI projects; Developing mitigation and risk transferring strategies.- Guarantees (surety bonds) involving both construction and operation stages.- D&O - Directors & Officers Insurance and other corporate coverages.

- Responsible for the coordination and execution of contractual analysis and project management (legal and risk matters).- Management of relationship with third party service providers including brokers and insurers in the oil and gas industry.- Maintain oversight of Audit and Finance Committee work-plans, assessment and preparation.- Lead the review, maintenance and application of the risk management and governance programs.- Coordination of the purchase of insurance programs, management of claims and claims control activities.- Responsible for preparing loss analyses and claim’ report, identifying exposures and recommending mitigation solutions.
