About Rafael Raposo Pires

Photographer, Visual Artist and Educator producing work within the topics of Architecture and Urbanism. Rafael has been exhibiting regularly since 2018 in Portugal and abroad. In 2022 he was shortlisted for the Bienal de Fotografia de Vila Franca de Xira, and took part in the artist residencies AiR_Cachopo (PT) and Default 22 (IT). He has received a mobility grant from Culture Moves Europe in 2023 to exhibit at KORA Contemporary Arts Center in Italy, and he has been part of the Project SEEDS Art Residency from 2023 to 2024 (Portugal, Spain and Greece).Two and Four wheels enthusiast with experience in the tourism sector as a Tour Leader in Morocco, Spain and Portugal. As well as, working as a motorsport photographer for over 5 years.Keen to work within multidisciplinary projects related with Art, Architecture or the Mobility industry.
