Above Atlantis is a start-up that helps flood-risked communities in BC with better data. Combining GIS & 3D Geovisualization techniques, Above Atlantis aims to create interactive web applications and flood models to better mitigate flood risks for smaller communities. Placed 3rd at AquaHacking BC 2020.

Co-founded synthetic biology research team that aimed to compete at the annual iGEM Competition & Jamboree in Boston, MA. The team worked to genetically engineer E. Coli to remediate Martian soil of toxin and produce oxygen.Designed and engineered hydroponic farm system, in effort to reuse discarded E. Coli cells to grow bean sprouts. This included the development of a liquid growth medium, electrical wiring of the motor & lighting system, and construction of water tanks & plant apparatus.As a lab researcher, followed molecular biology and synthetic biology research protocols in order to genetically-modify E. Coli to successfully breakdown perchlorate salts into chlorine & oxygen.As team lead and media liaison, coordinated team efforts in recruitment, management, sponsorship, and outreach. Maintained social media handles, and acted as team spokesperson.
