Co-founded synthetic biology research team that aimed to compete at the annual iGEM Competition & Jamboree in Boston, MA. The team worked to genetically engineer E. Coli to remediate Martian soil of toxin and produce oxygen.Designed and engineered hydroponic farm system, in effort to reuse discarded E. Coli cells to grow bean sprouts. This included the development of a liquid growth medium, electrical wiring of the motor & lighting system, and construction of water tanks & plant apparatus.As a lab researcher, followed molecular biology and synthetic biology research protocols in order to genetically-modify E.
